Hey there Chef Bert – I don’t have this in a letter format, and maybe you
need it that way, but if not… here you go!
Simply put, I don’t have any complaints about the catering.
Chef Bert and his staff were all on time, efficient, friendly, outgoing and
service oriented.
Everything we contracted for – and more – was delivered in the manner promised.
The food was plentiful, hot, and served on time.
The buffet table was arranged in a very orderly and attractive setting.
Everything seemed to flow flawlessly.
Guests commented on how good the food was compared to other catered events they
had attended.
Pricing was more than fair; the service was first-class.
Chef Bert and his crew cared about our reception and wanted to do everything
they could to make sure we were happy with the food and their service.
Chef Bert enjoyed a dance with me and mixed well with all of our guests.
The plates, glassware and eating utensils were all sparkling clean. I didn't see
any chips, streaks or lipstick stains. :-)
The staff was terrific in helping Tracy and Tiffany set up the tables with the
runners, flowers, candles and table favors.
Chef Bert shared a ton of valuable knowledge and experience with us along the
way like estimating how much alcohol and other food items we'd need.
The staff all seemed experienced and worked well together. I didn't hear or see
any grumbling. Everyone was busy, but not so busy that they didn't have time to
enjoy our guests.
If there was any panic about having forgotten something (a pan, knife,
ingredient, serving dish, etc) needed for the evening, I wasn't aware of it.
Most caterers would have piled on a lot of extra charges for providing things
like the extra plates needed for the chocolate fountain and wedding cake,
heating the cheese sauce and the chicken tenders, serving the champagne, etc.
I really appreciated the fact that my water glass was never empty. Someone was
always there with a water pitcher or ready to remove an empty plate.
I cannot truly express the level of gratitude I have to you and your staff! You
were all simply wonderful.
